In the politics of Maharashtra, the tussle between the Uddhav faction and the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena continues. The latest case is related to Shinde faction MP Rahul Shewale. Rahul Shewale has filed a defamation case against Uddhav Thackeray and Sanjay Raut. In this case, a hearing was held in the Mazagon Court of Mumbai.
Mazagon Court issued summons to Uddhav Thackeray and Sanjay Raut while hearing a defamation petition filed by MP Rahul Shewale. The Mumbai Metropolitan Magistrate Court has sent summons to both of them for the second time. Earlier, the court ordered both the leaders Sanjay Raut and Uddhav Thackeray to pay a bail bond of Rs 15,000 each.
Uddhav’s lawyer sought permission for Uddhav Thackeray to be present in the court through VC. The court accepted the plea of the lawyer and allowed Uddhav Thackeray to appear through VC. Both the leaders have filled a bond of 15 thousand and will be added to the hearing through VC.
Shiv Sena Shinde faction MP Rahul Shewale has alleged that political mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ had published a defamatory article against him. In protest against this, he has filed a defamation case against Uddhav Thackeray and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut.
Ever since the rebellion in Shiv Sena, the Uddhav faction and the Shinde faction keep on targeting each other from time to time. The leaders of the Uddhav group have many times termed the Shinde group as traitors. On the other hand, the leaders of the Shinde camp have been calling themselves real Shiv Sainiks.
