Maharashtra School Education and Marathi Language Minister Deepak Kesarkar has said that around 30,000 teachers will be recruited at the beginning of the new academic year starting next month.
The minister told a regional news channel on Tuesday that the existing reservation norms will be followed in the recruitment process and interviews will also be held. He said, ‘The state school education department will recruit 30,000 teachers in the first phase. We are hoping to complete the process before the start of the new academic year in June this year.
Kesarkar said the state is also planning to recruit 20,000 more teachers in the second phase. He said, “The number of teachers to be recruited in the second phase will be decided after the Aadhaar verification of the students.” The youth of the state were waiting for this recruitment for a long time. Earlier, due to Corona in the government of Mahavikas Aghadi, no specific step could be taken on the recruitment process. At that time the first priority was to save the lives of the people from Corona. Since then the matter of teacher recruitment was pending.
