After a video of Tamil Nadu Minister TM Anbarasan appearing to make threatening words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi went viral, the minister sparked a significant uproar. The DMK Minister is heard saying, “I am maintaining silence and speaking softly because I am a Minister,” during a public event. I would have ripped him to pieces if I wasn’t a minister.
Under Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, TM Anbarasan is the Minister for Rural Industries, Cottage Industries, Small Industries, and the Slum Clearance Board in the DMK administration that rules Tamil Nadu. These occurred last weekend, one week after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s extensive tour in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu.
In the Tamil clip, Anbarasan is heard remarking, “We’ve had many prime ministers, but never one who spoke like this.” “I want to warn Modi that the DMK is not your typical organisation, even though he threatens to eradicate us. Several blood sacrifices and much bloodshed formed it.
“Everyone who pledged to destroy DMK has been destroyed,” he says further. Remember that this organisation will always be strong.
The DMK minister then says, signalling a more assertive stance, “I would’ve dealt with him (Modi) differently.”
I am a minister, so I am keeping quiet and speaking gently. In the video, Anbarasan says, “If I weren’t a minister, I would have handled him (PM Modi) differently.”
After DMK’s minister made menacing words against Prime Minister Modi, the BJP retaliated.
The opposition INDI Alliance, of which the DMK is a member, has also come under fire from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the minister’s menacing remarks directed towards the prime minister.
The BJP leaders extensively shared the viral video clip of the DMK Minister’s alleged remarks against PM Modi on social media as the saffron party attacked the INDI Alliance for the Minister’s purported remarks.
The objectives of the INDI Alliance are very apparent. As he shared the alleged video of the minister’s comments, BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya declared, “They seek to eradicate Sanatan Dharma and anyone seen upholding it.”
BJP National Secretary Satya Kumar Yadav responded to the DMK Minister’s remarks by saying that this was “yet another low for the INDI Alliance,” implying that they are resorting to such overt disrespect towards the Prime Minister in anticipation of a negative result in the next Lok Sabha elections.
The INDI Alliance is criticising Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji because they know the outcome of the LS Elections will soon be known. Yadav said, “Such flagrant disrespect for the Honourable Prime Minister is intolerable and demands severe censure.
