Some work hard to succeed and some only hope hard that the opponents fail. This is exactly what we see as the fibre of Maharashtra politics these days. Politicians have a one-point agenda to dramatize every topic. They have more entertaining screenplays than the spiciest web series on OTT platforms. Nonetheless, their plan not just includes a hefty emotional spike but also ensures foul language and speeches that should have parental guidance disclaimers. Video media especially has gotten into the habit of utilizing this drama for business purposes. News Channels certainly are not functioning for social causes but for profits and TRP. And we can’t blame business startups for making optimum use of resources. However, the constant bombarding of negativity has misguided the whole generation into a conflict mentality.
Maharashtra, a state that is the economic capital of India is put through unnecessary chaos for the personal gains of some people in power and the common people are not considered stakeholders in this game. Every morning starts with a new issue which is then taken up loudly and the only expectation everyone screaming keeps is, that Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should step down. The politicians have lost their mental grip for sure but now the gangsters have also lost their standards. There is a rare case of a jailed international gangster threatening a local standardless scamster. Now whether the gangsters have lost their standards or the scamsters have raised their hopes, we will know soon. Summers are coming with heat and mental demotion in all-powerful communities.
We can observe that there is a note shared with all MVA members and are instructed that whatever they speak should end with one line, “The DCM is incapable and he should step down.” At least on this point, we can see solid unity among MVA. It seems as if the opposition has created a monthly calendar of issues which will lead to only one demand that’s mentioned earlier. Mission Build Maharashtra will be more beneficial to MVA than Mission Pull Down Fadnavis. Instead of having a calendar full of tactics to pull down one man, there could be a calendar to bring about futuristic ideas to make Maharashtra prosperous and advanced. Opposing, conflicting and non-co-operation can be a political election strategy but not a healthy action plan for the state and its public. Collaborating, co-existing and co-ordination are possible only to mature and sane minds. If we have such minds in the government and the opposition, Maharashtra will flourish a hundred folds in lesser time. We need this kind of ecology. When politicians work for elections, states don’t prosper, they break down and burn.
All those who are not the heads but are waiting to head their parties are intrigued by the working style and patient display of the Deputy Chief Minister. Looks like the whole MVA group is threatened by the existence of just one person Mr Devendra Fadnavis. And if this is the case then does this portray the strength of Mr Fadnavis or fear of the opposition?
