Mumbai recorded five COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the total to 11,63,856, while the death toll remained at 19,773, according to a city official.
The representative of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation noted that on Thursday, the city recorded eight instances but no fatalities.
The number of recoveries rose by eight to 11,44,037, leaving the city with 46 current cases, the official added.
According to him, 1,88,82,708 coronavirus tests have been performed in Mumbai to far, including 634 on the previous day.
According to BMC statistics, the total increase rate of cases between June 2 and 8 was 0.0005 percent, and the recovery rate is 98.3 percent.
