According to sources, Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Surve’s son Raj Surve was charged on Thursday by Mumbai police with kidnapping and beating a 36-year-old Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a Mumbai-based music firm.
According to reports, the police have accused Surve, Manoj Mishra, the head of the music label Adi Shakti Private Limited, and at least ten other people in the FIR.
According to the CCTV evidence, a group of 10 to 15 individuals forced their way into an office, assaulted the workers, and forcefully removed one person.
After then, the victim and the kidnappers departed in two automobiles. An office employee reported the event to the police control center right away.
How was the FIR described?
The CEO’s office is located in the Chintamani Classique complex in suburban Goregaon, and according to the Aarey police station officer, several unidentified individuals forced their way in and took him with them.
The identities of a political figure and a person with whom he is embroiled in a financial dispute were purportedly utilized.
The victim and the kidnappers then drove off in two separate vehicles.
He said that a member of the office staff immediately called the police control center and reported the occurrence.
The cars were pursued by police until they were eventually stopped near Dahisar (East), Mumbai’s most northern neighborhood, according to the official.
The CEO was hauled out along with the rest of the car’s passengers. The music industry CEO admitted under questioning that he and them were having a financial disagreement. Others eventually fled the area in their vehicles, but the CEO was taken to the Aarey police station, he said.
