Mundra Port Resumes Operations After Cyclone, Adani Ports Rebuilds Stronger
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. announced the resumption of operations at Mundra port in Gujarat after a cyclonic storm disrupted activities at the facility for several days.
Following the passage of the cyclone through the region, Mundra port is back in action. Karan Adani, CEO of Adani Ports, shared the news in a tweet, stating that the first ship has berthed at the port on Saturday, and they are now fully operational. He expressed gratitude to the stakeholders for their unwavering support and emphasized their commitment to rebuilding stronger together.
The cyclone, named Biparjoy, had prompted the suspension of operations at various ports in Gujarat’s Kutch, an essential trading hub.
