A group of people from the Muslim community allegedly tried to offer a chadar to the idol at the Trimbakeshwar temple in Nashik, Maharashtra. However, the security personnel stopped the group from doing so. On the other hand, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered the formation of SIT to investigate the entire matter. In such a situation, after this today the temple was purified on behalf of Hindu organizations and a new board was also installed on the temple.
According to the FIR, some non-Hindu people tried to enter the Trimbakeshwar temple in Nashik on the evening of 13th. The temple trust sent a complaint letter to Trimbakeshwar police station. After the video of the incident went viral, Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis formed a special SIT and ordered an inquiry. 5 mobile videos of this incident have come to the fore, in which some people with a chadar in their heads were trying to enter the temple gate.
On the other hand, Nashik Range IG Shekhar Patil has indicated further action after coming to the temple premises and seeing the CCTV footage of the trust. Along with this, he also conducted a security check of the temple and has also met the Sandal organiser. On the other hand, Matin Sayyed, the organizer of the Sandal procession, claims that he comes every year to show greed. On the other hand, Matin Sayyed, one of the elders of Sandal, said that ever since the Trimbakeshwar temple was built, since then we take out Sandal and pass in front of the temple, then we worship Lord Lobhan from the stairs of the north door of the temple. On the other hand, the temple’s trustee Bhushan Adasare said that two-three processions are taken out here in a year. Many Hindu Bandhavs also participate in this procession but there is no mention of these people coming to the temple. In the midst of all this ruckus, the Sakal Hindu organization protested and purified the entire temple from the main gate to the main temple. They performed purification with water brought from the Godavari river, after which Mahaarti was also performed inside the temple.
