According to a report from ET, Flipkart-owned fashion portal Myntra is planning an internal restructure that might result in the layoffs of around 50 workers. The final internal announcement may be made at a town hall, it added, adding that numerous staff had been told about the changes
According to the research, the job cutbacks would probably have an effect on positions in all sectors. Most of these workers are likely to come from the verticals of in-house brands.
“In an effort to meet the constantly changing demands of our clients, as well as new situations and technological advancements, we periodically reevaluate our organizational structure and readjust our business goals. We provide our staff with the chance to switch to other jobs, where they are available, both inside the organization and with group businesses, as part of this business-as-usual recalibration, a Myntra spokeswoman told ET.
