According to sources speaking to IANS, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out searches at six sites in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday in connection with a case involving the financing of terrorism.
Local police officers and members of the CISF were there with the NIA teams.
“This is an instance of terrorism financing.
“Terrorist groups operating out of Pakistan were assisting Kashmir-based operatives who were inciting young people to engage in terrorism. They are being raided, the insider said.
The NIA hasn’t released an official remark on the subject as of yet.
