In the early hours of Friday, a major fire broke out in a slum in Mumbai’s Kurla East neighborhood of Qureshi Nagar, according to authorities.
No one has been reported dead or injured as of yet.
Locals in the neighbourhood reportedly saw the fire and called the authorities when it started.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and began putting out the fire after receiving the information.
“There have been no reports of casualties as of yet. The precise origin of the fire is yet unknown, they said.
