On May 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver a speech at a public gathering in the Sirohi region of Rajasthan, a BJP office-holder said on Tuesday.
Party officials, office holders, and supporters will all be in attendance at the rally at Abu Road, according to Bhajan Lal, the general secretary of the BJP’s Rajasthan chapter. Modi will speak at the event.
In the state governed by the Congress, where assembly elections are scheduled for later this year, this will be the prime minister’s third rally in 2023.
The Gurjar community’s venerated Lord Devnarayan celebrated his birth anniversary in January, and Modi spoke at a public event in Bhilwara to commemorate the occasion. In February, upon the dedication of the Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot portion of the Delhi-Mumbai Motorway, he also spoke at a public gathering in Dausa.
After the elections in Karnataka, other top officials will begin travelling to Rajasthan to interact with BJP members with only a few months till the assembly elections, according to party sources.
They further said that BJP leader JP Nadda could visit the state this month.
In order to prepare for the visits of the party’s central leaders, Arun Singh, the BJP’s national general secretary and in-charge of Rajasthan, will camp in the state, according to the sources.
