‘Operation Secured Travel’ has been initiated by the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces nationwide to protect railroads, canals, and roadways from chaos and arson caused by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s blockade starting on Sunday.
Across the nation, 65,000 members of the Village Defence Party (VDP) and Bangladesh Ansar are being deployed.
To safeguard railroad lines, up to 10,000 Ansar-VDP personnel are being stationed at 1,476 locations around the nation.
A watch would be maintained by the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP members to prevent any adverse occurrence, particularly on railway lines, in addition to railway stations, bus stations, and launch routes.
The security of train stations, bus stands, launch ghats, public and private facilities, and public areas will be under Bangladesh Ansar’s control for two days, from Sunday morning to Monday, according to Md. Zahidul Islam, Public Relations Officer and Deputy Director (Project-Training) of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces. He made this announcement on Saturday night.
In addition to protecting the security of their own accountable institutions, 5,5,000 connected Ansars that are tasked with guarding a variety of public and 5,296 private establishments will carry out their responsibilities in the neighborhood.
