On Wednesday, the telecom company Vodafone Idea announced the resignation of P Balaji, its chief regulatory and corporate affairs officer. Vodafone Idea said in a BSE filing that Balaji would leave the business as a senior manager on January 10, 2024.
“I appreciate the opportunity given to me by Vodafone Idea to serve for over 9 years and am proud of the work we have done together to help transform the company,” Balaji said in his resignation letter, which was published by the firm as part of the filing.
Balaji went on to say that he is excited to pursue his career and personal objectives outside of VIL at this time in his life.
“I would prefer to leave the company’s employ effective immediately. He responded, “I would appreciate it if the corporation relieves me of my duties as soon as possible and waives the need for a contractual notice period.
