The Prime Minister said, “We are developing Bhashini, an AI-powered language translation platform that will facilitate digital inclusion in all of India’s different languages.
“The nation has seen an extraordinary digital transition during the last nine years. It all began with the introduction of the digital India program in 2015, which is driven by an unwavering faith in innovation. It is inspired by our dedication to swift execution and our commitment to inclusivity, leaving no one behind, he added.
The magnitude, pace, and breadth of this shift beyond comprehension. Over 850 million people use the internet in India today, where data prices are among the lowest in the world. He said, “We have used technology to change governance so that it is more appreciative, inclusive, quick, and transparent.”
More over 1.3 billion of our population are covered by our special digital identification platform, Aadhaar. The ‘JAN’ Trinity’s power has been used. Financial inclusion in India would be revolutionized by the Jan Dhan bank account, Aadhar, and mobile, he said.
Through UPI, our quick payment system, almost 10 billion transactions are completed each month. India accounts for more than 45% of all real-time payments worldwide. “The Gati Shakti platform maps infrastructure and logistics using technology and careful design. It promotes speed of delivery, lowers costs, and aids in planning. Transparency and integrity have been added to the process thanks to our online public procurement program in the government e-marketplace, the official said.
E-commerce is becoming more accessible because to the open network for digital trade. Systems of taxes that are entirely digital are encouraging e-governance and transparency. Bengaluru is a place where innovation in science, technology, and entrepreneurship can be found.
