On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Governor Yogi Adityanath welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to dedicate 16 new residential schools that were constructed at a total cost of around Rs 1,115 crore.
Children of laborers and construction workers, as well as children left without parents as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, are eligible to attend these schools, which have been given the name Atal Awasiya Vidyalayas (Atal Awasiya Schools).
After having conversations with a few of the pupils, Prime Minister Modi then proceeded to dedicate these schools to the country.
Each of the residential schools would have a capacity for 1,000 pupils and will cost around 1.115 billion Indian rupees to construct. These things will make it easier for children to have access to good education and will aid in their overall development.
Each of the educational institutions was built on an area of five to fifteen acres and included dormitory accommodations, a cafeteria, classrooms, a playground, various recreational facilities, a miniature theater, and residential apartments for the teaching staff.
