The job of the police is to prevent crime and catch criminals. Thieves also run away from the police. Despite this, a car thief from Andhra Pradesh stole the police vehicle itself. The surprising thing was that this thief stole the patrolling car of the police from just outside the police station. Unaware of the consequences, this thief reached Tamil Nadu driving a stolen car from Andhra Pradesh.
The case pertains to Chittoor Forest Town Police Station in Andhra Pradesh. The police patrolling car was parked outside the police station. A thief came and ran away with this car. After some time, when the police came to know about this, they were surprised. A special team was formed to find this car and the driver of the patrolling car was immediately suspended.
Thief caught from Tamil Nadu
Chittoor SP Y Rishanth Reddy started a special operation. When the CCTV footage was searched, this vehicle was seen going towards Vellore in Tamil Nadu. After this, Andhra Pradesh police contacted Tamil Nadu police. Tamil Nadu police also started tracing and CCTV footage of many areas were scanned.
Finally this thief was stopped between Vandwasi and Tindivan along with the police car. Amidst all this, the thief had covered a distance of more than 100 kms. Police arrested the accused along with his vehicle and brought him to Chittoor. Police is interrogating the accused.
