Police said on Tuesday that a 30-year-old woman who was shot by her neighbor after she complained about the DJ playing loud music at a party at his home and had a miscarriage is still in serious condition.
According to them, the lady who suffered a gunshot wound to her neck is still on a ventilator and showing no signs of recovery.
According to a senior police official, Harish, who is accused of shooting the lady, and his companion Amit, whose pistol was used in the crime, have both been taken into custody.
After the incident late on Sunday night, Ranju, a resident of Siraspur, was taken to Max Hospital in Shalimar Bagh. Due to her health, she has not yet provided her statement.
The witnesses claim that on Sunday night, Harish was playing loud music to celebrate the birth of his baby. Ranju begged the guy who lives across the street to turn down the music as she emerged onto her balcony.
According to what they told police, Harish allegedly took offense at the argument and grabbed a revolver from his companion Amit before shooting Ranju and striking her in the neck.
