New Delhi: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the historic National Training Conclave held at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The Conclave saw active participation from representatives of civil services training institutes from all corners of the country. Organized by the Capacity Building Commission, the event aimed to promote collaboration among civil services training institutes and enhance the training infrastructure for civil servants nationwide.
Over 1500 representatives from various training institutes, including Central Training Institutes, State Administrative Training Institutes, Regional and Zonal Training Institutes, and Research institutes, enthusiastically took part in the conclave. The event also welcomed civil servants from central government departments, state governments, local governments, and experts from the private sector, as stated in an official announcement.
According to the statement, “This diverse gathering will facilitate the exchange of ideas, identify challenges and opportunities, and generate actionable solutions and comprehensive strategies for capacity building.”
The conclave featured eight panel discussions, each centering around significant concerns relevant to civil services training institutes. These discussions covered topics such as faculty development, training impact assessment, and content digitization, among others.
