The chief minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, said on Saturday that party leader Rahul Gandhi’s tireless efforts, which were obvious during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, are paying off, as seen by the significant victory the Congress had in Karnataka. The BJP, which overthrew the state’s Congress administration, has learned a valuable lesson from the people of Karnataka, according to the chief minister.
‘Mahangai Rahat’ camp at Bilara, Jodhpur, was where Gehlot was giving his speech. Similar camps were also visited by him in the Pali and Nagaur districts. In Karnataka, the Congress has won 135 seats and is in the lead in one, well above the required 113 seats for a majority. The Election Commission’s website’s most recent trends indicate that the BJP won 65 seats.
Rahul Gandhi’s diligence is confirmed by the sizable victory the Congress had in Karnataka, according to Gehlot, who added that this was clear during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said that the state’s previous Congress-JD(S) administration was overthrown by the BJP.
“In this election, the voters of Karnataka gave the BJP a pertinent lesson. In every state, the BJP overthrows governments. They carried it out in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, he claimed. In Rajasthan, it too attempted to do so, but “we managed to save our government,” he said. According to Gehlot, people now recognize that the BJP overthrows democratically elected governments.
