Senior campaigner of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Madan Das Devi has passed away. He breathed his last on Monday at 5.00 am in a hospital in Bengaluru. He was undergoing treatment at Rashtrotthan Hospital. Madan Das Devi was 81 years old. He was fulfilling the responsibility of the post of All India Organization Minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Co-Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
His body has been kept at the state office of the union ‘Keshav Kripa’ (Bengaluru) for the last darshan. The last darshan of Madandas Devi will be held on Monday from 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm and the last rites will be performed on Tuesday, July 25 at 11.00 am in Pune (Maharashtra), said a statement issued by the RSS.
Madandas Devi was the first pracharak to emerge from the Sangh scheme in Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He was the organization minister of the Parishad for many years. In the 90s, he started fulfilling the responsibilities of the Sangh.

Expressing condolences, PM Modi tweeted, ‘Extremely saddened by the death of Madan Das Devi ji. He dedicated his entire life to the service of the nation. I not only had a close association with him, but always got to learn a lot from him. May God give strength to all the workers and their families in this hour of grief. om Shanti!’

Expressing condolences, Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote, ‘It is very sad to know about the demise of Shri Madandas Devi, senior campaigner of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The departure of Madan Das ji, who selflessly devoted his life to the service of the nation and union work, is an irreparable loss to the organization.
