Congress leader and former party president Rahul Gandhi is on US tour. During this, he has fiercely targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Rahul Gandhi, while answering a series of questions at the National Press Club in Washington, expressed confidence of the opposition coming together to oust the BJP from power in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Now the statement of Uddhav Thackeray faction leader Sanjay Raut has come to the fore.
Asserting that the opposition is united, Sanjay Raut said, “I agree with what Rahul Gandhi said. The entire opposition is united and we will defeat the present government at the Center in 2024. This is our belief and confidence.” In Washington, Rahul Gandhi said, “The Congress party will do very well in the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 and surprise people. Do the math, the opposition united on its own will defeat the BJP.”
Speaking at the Press Club of Washington DC, Rahul Gandhi said, “The opposition is very well united. They are getting more united. We are talking to all the opposition. It is a very complicated conversation, because in some places we are also competing with each other, so it’s somewhat of a transaction as needed, but I’m sure it’s going to happen.”
