Mumbai: Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray party leader MP Sanjay Raut held a press conference today and commented on the politics going on in the constituencies of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Shrikant Shinde. Sanjay Raut said that breaking a party like Shiv Sena and weakening Maharashtra by breaking Shiv Sena, loosening the grip of Marathi people on Mumbai as an alternative to Shiv Sena, was and is the dream of BJP. If that dream is to be achieved, Shiv Sena must be broken first. Five or six people like Eknath Shinde and others were trying to break it. Eknath Shinde’s strength should not be more than four to five MLAs. Sanjay Raut said that the picture that was created later on was created by BJP’s central leadership, the pressure created by the Home Ministry and the central system. Sanjay Raut claimed that cases were going on against 12 MLAs, ED CBI Income Tax was used to break the party through Amit Shah.
Sanjay Raut said that Amit Shah’s politics is to use central machinery to weaken the Shiv Sena from Maharashtra and take control of Mumbai, to destroy the dominance of Marathi people in Mumbai itself. After that the industries in Maharashtra started going out, there was an attempt to reduce the voice of Maharashtra. Eknath Shinde was pressured by ED. Aditya Thackeray has repeatedly said this. I also know this, said Sanjay Raut. We have discussed many times, we said we should be firm, but these people are scared, now they are roaring, they are hollow roars, Sanjay Raut warned, BJP will not survive without destroying them. Because BJP does not want a party that raises the issue of Maharashtra, Raut said.
They broke the alliance in 2014, BJP broke the alliance at that time. Eknath Khadse had announced that. Raut said that there is no relation between Shinde group and us. We had alliance with BJP for 25 years. BJP leaders and workers used to fight with Shiv Sena. Even though we tried to demolish seats of Shiv Sena, we maintained our relationship. Raut also threatened that now let them maintain relations with BJP and they will know how it is.
Anand Dighe was the District Chief, Shiv Sena had won the seat when Balasaheb Thackeray was there. After that Shiv Sena won that seat. Sanjay Raut said that this will be the case in all seats, not in Kalyan. Sanjay Raut said that Kalyan’s place was with BJP, now Shiv Sena has taken Kalyan as Dombivli is its stronghold. He won that seat consistently, without any connection with Shiv Sena, without any party work, that seat was given to Srikant Shinde, for which Gopal Landge’s candidature was withdrawn. It was pampered by Uddhav Thackeray then, Shinde Putra was pampered. Twice given seats, twice elected, now let them fight their struggle. Sanjay Raut said that BJP will not be left without crying for every seat.
