Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, said on Tuesday that his meeting with Sharad Pawar, the head of the NCP, last week in Pune didn’t produce anything.
He told reporters in Kolhapur that they shouldn’t give the meeting too much thought.
“Sharad Pawar’s (Pawar Saheb) explanation is already clear. There is misunderstanding as a result of the many ways that the media has covered a family gathering. Nothing odd happened during the meeting, there is no cause to believe, he stated.
Political circles were buzzing on Saturday after a “secret” meeting between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar at a businessman’s home in Pune. Jayant Patil, a prominent member of the Nationalist Congress Party, was also present.
When questioned about his leaving the property and ‘hiding’ in a car, Ajit Pawar denied being in the vehicle.
“I didn’t sneak out,’ I said. I am a person who wanders about freely. I had no justification for hiding.”That car was not there with me,” he said.
Regional news networks broadcast images of Sharad Pawar entering and departing the home of entrepreneur Atul Chordiya in the Koregaon Park neighborhood on August 12 between 1 and 5 p.m.
At 6:45 p.m., Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister, is said to have been spotted driving away from the location.
Ajit Pawar said that he had seen Pawar Senior before leaving the NCP in July of this year to join the Shiv Sena-BJP administration in the state.
Atul Chordiya, a businessman, said that the Pawar family had a two-generation relationship with him.
Pawar Saheb had been asked to lunch by Chordiya. Jayant Patil went along with him since they were meant to travel there following a seminar at the Vasantdada Sugar Institute. After finishing the Chandni Chowk bridge ceremony, I arrived there, Ajit Pawar stated.
The deputy CM was in Kolhapur to take part in the holiday festivities.
Ajit Pawar said Kolhapur is a forward-thinking district that also has traces of old traditions in his remarks at the event. The state administration is dedicated to the advancement of all societal groups, including farmers, women, and young people both inside the state and in the district.
He expressed his gratitude for the chance to raise the flag in the ancient city that bears the names of Shahu Maharaj, a social reformer, and Maharani Tarabai.
According to Pawar, India has advanced significantly over the last 76 years and is now one of the top five economies in the world.
According to him, India would overtake Japan and Germany to become the third-largest economy in the world if GDP growth keeps on its current pace.
