The renowned floating gardens on the Dal lake here were visited on Sunday by former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who is now in Kashmir on a private visit, according to authorities. Soon after dawn, they said, the Congress leader boarded a shikara to go to the floating gardens.
Rahul Gandhi visited the floating gardens on Saturday. He is now in Kashmir as well after finishing an eight-day trip to Ladakh. Later, Sonia Gandhi went to the Nishat and Shalimar Mughal Gardens beside the Dal Lake.
