Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, said on Wednesday that the issue has not been resolved and that police are still taking testimony in relation to the suspected suspicious death of Disha Salian.
A few days before the suspected suicide of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on June 8, 2020, Salian (28), the star’s former manager, reportedly killed himself by leaping from a high-rise building in Mumbai’s Malad neighbourhood.
The credibility of the primary evidence is being determined as it is being obtained. According to some, the Disha death case would not be easily resolved since they had tangible proof, Fadnavis, who is also the state’s home minister, told a news outlet.
“The procedure is continuing. A few remarks have been recorded, and more will be at a later time, the speaker added. Fadnavis has announced the formation of a SIT to look into Salian’s death in December 2022.
