The strong earthquake that occurred on Wednesday night in the Caribbean Sea has created upheaval. The intensity of the earthquake was so high that waves started rising to a great height in the ocean. The fierce roar in the sea created a scary atmosphere. The people around were horrified to hear the wailing voices rising from the waves of the ocean.
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), Panama and Colombia were also shaken by this earthquake in the Caribbean Sea. Actually this Caribbean Sea is situated just a short distance from the Panama and Colombia border. According to the USGS, the intensity of this terrible earthquake has been estimated at 6.6.
The US Geological Survey said that at present no news of any loss of life or property has been received from the earthquake. According to the USGS, the epicenter of the earthquake was about 41 kilometers northeast of Puerto Obalda, Panama, at a depth of 10 kilometers. Teams are busy inspecting the damage after the earthquake. However, no damage has been reported so far. No predictions have been made regarding the sea storm after the earthquake.
