Police in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar neighborhood confirmed on Saturday that a lady who was discovered dead next to a school’s wall was a Zurich-born Swiss national. Based on a mix of technological and manual information, the Delhi Police have detained one suspect, known as Gurpreet, according to ANI’s reporting of police.
Investigators are presently questioning Gurpreet in an effort to learn more about the identify of the victim and the circumstances of her death.
Gurpreet, one of the suspects, has been apprehended thanks to technology and manual intelligence. He is being questioned about the victim’s identify and the circumstances surrounding the incident. The murdered lady was a Swiss national from Zurich, according to the Delhi-West Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).
According to authorities, the woman’s corpse was discovered Friday morning next to a school managed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi with her top half wrapped in a black rubbish disposal bag. The woman’s wrists and legs were bound with metal chains, according to police, who estimate her age to be in her early 30s.
According to sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), a murder complaint has been filed.
