India will play its first match against Australia at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Like last time, this time also Team India will play full 9 matches in the World Cup. Team India has reached the semi-finals of the last two ODI World Cups, but they had to face defeat in both. A total of 10 teams will be a part of this tournament. The teams that finish in the top 4 in the points table will qualify for the semi-finals. Whereas on November 15, the first semi-final will be played in Mumbai.
