BJP president J P Nadda supported the party’s candidate from Malkajgiri, N Ramchander Rao, by holding a roadshow here on Sunday as part of his Telangana campaign.
In the evening, Nadda participated in the roadshow at Malkajgiri in a campaign car with Ramchander Rao and BJP MP K Laxman.
According to party insiders, Nadda also saw the India vs. Australia World Cup final match at Malkajgiri, dubbed “a mini-India.”
Nadda spoke at election rallies in Chevella and Narayanpet earlier in the day.
Speaking at the rallies, Nadda encouraged the electorate to support the saffron party and said that the K Chandrasekhar Rao-led government in Telangana should be overthrown during the impending assembly elections.
