A terrible bus accident has happened in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. 5 people have died in this accident. Police informed that there was a collision between the bus and the car. The impact of the collision was so strong that the front part of the car was badly mangled. In this accident, four people of the same family who were traveling in the car died on the spot. According to the information, this road accident happened near Kanpa village on Nagbhid-Nagpur road of Chandrapur. Nagbhid police reached the spot as soon as the information about the road accident was received.
Police informed that the accident took place around 4 pm in Kanpa village under Nagbhid police station area, about 115 km from the district headquarters. Six persons were traveling from Nagpur to Nagbhid in a car when their vehicle rammed into a passenger bus coming from the opposite direction, a police officer said. The impact of the collision was so severe that four occupants of the car died on the spot and their bodies had to be cremated.”
Police further informed that a girl and a woman sustained serious injuries and were shifted to Nagbhid Rural Hospital. Out of them the woman died during treatment. Later, the girl was taken to Nagpur for further treatment, he said. Three women were among the dead, the official said.
