Licenses of 18 pharma organizations have been dropped for assembling false prescriptions following an assessment by the Medications Regulator General of India (DCGI) on 76 organizations across 20 states, sources said on Thursday.
Move has been initiated on 70 organizations in Himachal Pradesh and 45 in Uttarakhand and 23 in Madhya Pradesh during the public authority crackdown on organizations producing fake meds, official sources said.

As per the rundown got to by ANI, the majority of the organizations against whome activity has been taken are enlisted in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
The permit of Himalaya Meditek Pvt Ltd enlisted in Dehradun was suspended for assembling with prompt impact from December 30, 2022 and authorization for it to fabricate 12 items was dropped on February 7, this year.
Showcause and quit producing notice was given to Shri Sai Balaji Pharmatech Pvt Ltd from Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. After check of consistence by Medication Investigators, the quit producing request was disavowed.
EG Drugs, Vill Mandhala, Teh Kasauli, Dist Solan (Himachal Pradesh) was likewise given show cause notice and the quit fabricating request was repudiated after confirmation of consistence.
Athens Life Sciences, Mauza Rampur Jattan, Nahan Street Kala Amb, Distt Sirmour 173030 (Himachal) was just given show cause notice.
