New HD matrix LED headlights with 16,384 individually programmable micro-LEDs on a surface area the size of a thumbnail will be installed on the Cayenne facelift. Since just the essential LEDs will be lit, these headlights will use less energy. The SUV’s body has undergone minimal alterations to bring it into line with the rest of Porsche’s lineup. The grille of the 2024 Porsche Cayenne is divided into three sections and has thicker stanchions on select variants. The daytime running lights have been moved up into the grille’s top area. The light bar on the Porsche Cayenne 2024 will be upgraded. Like the Cayenne Coupe, the license plate will be moved lower on the bumper.
A push-button start instead of a Porsche key-turn and a series of displays arranged horizontally are among the improvements that can be seen in the interior views that have been released. The interiors include a 10.3-inch optional passenger touchscreen and a 12.3-inch dashboard touchscreen with Porsche’s curved display.
The 3.0L V6 turbocharged engine in the basic model will produce 349 horsepower and 500 Nm of maximum torque. The bigger twin-turbo, 4.0L V8 engine with 468 horsepower and 600 Nm will replace the V6 in the Cayenne S. The Turbo GT Cayenne Coupe will only have 651 horsepower and 850 Nm.
The e-hybrid model would have a maximum output of 463 horsepower and a maximum torque of 650 Nm. All of the vehicles will come equipped with an all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The battery in the electric vehicles will alter; it will grow to a bigger 25.9 kWh pack from the existing 17.9 kWh one.
The facelifted third-generation Porsche Cayenne might be the last vehicle to use an internal combustion engine. By 2025, the luxury SUV’s fourth generation is anticipated to be on sale, and it could only have an all-electric drivetrain. The third-generation facelift and the future all-electric Cayenne are anticipated to coexist until 2030, with the older models being phased out gradually.
