Illogicality is in the air of Delhi. The ones who have no common sense catch this airborne disease very quickly. The Aam Admi Party chief Kejriwal has proved in his action that he should have named his party “Taam Jhaam Admi Party” by blowing up the interior budgets of his house. The amount of public money he has spent on the interiors of his house is proof of how ‘Aam’ he is. Days after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was revealed to have spent over Rs 45 crores on the “renovation” of his home in the Delhi neighbourhood of Civil Lines, it has come to light that Kejriwal not only desires an expensive bungalow but also one that is spacious.
The government has also issued eviction notices to government officials in the 2.6 acres of land located on Rajpur Road and Flagstaff Road in Delhi, next to the current CM’s residence. The Chief Minister of Delhi has decided to expand his current residence, which is spread out over 4.7 acres, to 7.3 acres. According to sources, the government has taken possession of two bungalows and eight apartments that were built next to the Chief Minister’s home and plans to combine those properties into the CM’s home. According to reports, the Cabinet decided on this expansion on July 28, 2021, and letters were sent out right away to the occupants of the two bungalows and eight apartments requesting that they leave their homes by the end of August 2021. We should wonder if Kejriwal thinks that people who voted for him are going to support his stupidity.

To construct a CM complex, bungalows on Flagstaff Road and apartments on Rajpur Road have been evacuated. According to a Times Now story, the expansion project’s development has already started, and the government officials who previously resided in the 8 flats and 2 bungalows have been relocated to new sites. The flats were given to IAS officer Neha Bansal, who has since moved to Court Lane, Gurdeep Singh, who has since moved to 17/6 Rajpur Road, Charu Agarwal, who has since moved to 33/25 Rajpur Road, Vinod Kumar, who has since moved to CWG Games Village, and Ramesh Kumar, who has since moved to CWG Games Village. At the time the eviction notice was issued, two apartments were vacant. Notices to vacate were delivered to the apartments with the numbers 45/1 through 45/8. In addition to the 8 flats, orders to evacuate 2 bungalows, 8-A and 8-B, on Flagstaff Road, were also issued. The person who was living at 8-A has moved on to another location.
The large residential complex would, according to the design, be built on a triangle-shaped land bounded by Flagstaff Road, Rajpur Road, and a lane that connects the two roads. The larger Chief Ministerial Complex that is anticipated will have amenities such as a badminton court, sports area, swimming pool, and garden. The Delhi CM’s use of Rs 45 crores in taxpayer funds to ‘renovate’ his home was just made public. Kejriwal chose a curtain design for his home that would cost Rs 7,94,000 per piece and ordered 23 of them. In addition, he paid Rs 3.30 crores for the superior quality “Deor Pearl Marble.” The stone was purchased and polished using the specified sum. In addition, the chemical adhesive used to adhere the marble cost Rs 21,60,000. Kejriwal seems to have overtaken Congress in misusing public money.
Also, the Chief Minister placed a Rs 20 lakh order for 6 hand-knotted wool carpets. Two kitchens were renovated for Rs 63 million, while wall panelling cost Rs 4 crores. With the numbers that we can see here, there should be a ticketed entry to his house for the common public, just to see how their hard-earned money is wasted. The wardrobes and dressers in his room, his parent’s bedroom, and the bedrooms of his two daughters were also renovated for an additional Rs 40 lakhs. The Delhi CM added another Rs 1 lakh for each of the 24 decorative pillars he had built in his home. He is alleged to have also spent Rs 41 lakhs on superior hardwood doors and Rs 88 lakhs on automated sliding glass doors in addition to Rs 2.16 crores for creative and ornamental work. It’s important to remember that the Delhi chief minister also spent several crores of government dollars last year to build a pool inside his house. It was said that Kejriwal had the pool designed by the norms of an upscale Maldives resort. Imagine if every Aam Admi was looted to build one Taam Jhaam Admi’s house. That’s what is happening here.
The BJP has attacked the renovations done to the Delhi chief minister’s house. When Delhi was having problems with Covid, the opposition party in Delhi claimed that the city’s chief executive was refurbishing his home with millions of dollars. The Delhi CM’s resignation was also urged by the BJP due to this problem. The Congress further criticised the AAP, claiming that despite calling his party the “Aam Aadmi Party” (common man’s party) and making these commitments, Kejriwal lavished money on his home while Delhi residents frantically searched for oxygen tanks during the Covid pandemic. The amount spent on renovations must be viewed from the perspective of the amount spent by other governments on comparable projects, the AAP retorted in response to the accusations. Sanjay Singh, a Rajya Sabha member for the AAP, also asserted that the official residence of the Delhi CM, which was erected in 1942, has suffered three roof collapses. The Public Works Department (PWD) recommended that a new house be erected in response to the roof collapse occurrences, and this was accomplished, he claimed.
However, it has recently come to light that the Chief Minister intends to buy 2 bungalows and 8 flats nearby to turn his home into a massive, sprawling CM’s residential complex.
Never thought an Ex IRS officer would need malicious crowdfunding ( use of public money) to decorate the house of his dreams. We can definitely suggest a name change to Kejriwals party , THE TAAM JHAAM PARTY.
