According to an official release, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport will provide connectivity to 115 distinct destinations and 975 daily airline operations as part of the winter timetable.
Beginning on October 29 and lasting through March 30, 2024, is the winter schedule.
“With an amazing connectivity offering connecting travelers to 115 different destinations, the winter schedule will witness new destinations offering more than 975 daily flight movements experiencing about an 8 per cent increase vis-a-vis winter schedule of 2022,” the official announcement said.
It also said that in addition to enabling Air Canada and Azerbaijan Airlines to resume flights, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) is growing flight operations with new anticipated international routes to Almaty in Kazakhstan and Bali in Indonesia.
“Now, travelers to and from Mumbai may choose from a variety of exciting holiday spots, such as Entebbe, Lagos, and other alluring African locations. Travelers have a wide range of options, including Tokyo for a mix of winter sun and urban activities, the beautiful islands of Mauritius and Seychelles, bustling cities like He Chi Minh and Hanoi in Vietnam, and tropical locations like the Maldives.
Additionally, the announcement states that on October 19, Emirates launched its Premium Economy cabin class in India, with CSMIA serving as its inaugural base.
The announcement went on, “The airline will formally launch this cabin class on October 30th.”
“When it comes to airlines, IndiGo is the clear leader, with a 38% market share from
Shivaji Mahara Chhatrapati CSMIA. Air India comes in second with an 18% market share, while Vistara maintains a solid third place with a 15% share, the report said.
