Two Pakistani residents were allegedly going to enter the city with the goal of detonating the venerable Taj Hotel, according to a threat call made to Mumbai Police on Friday.
The Maharashtra secretariat in South Mumbai was the target of another threat call that was made to the Mumbai police on Thursday.
It was discovered to be a false alarm when sniffer dogs and bomb detecting specialists inspected the high-security facility.
According to a police complaint, the person who claimed to be Mukesh Singh was subsequently shown to be Jagdamba Prasad Singh, a 35-year-old resident of Santacruz who is originally from Gonda, Uttar Pradesh.
