The Eiffel Tower in Paris has received a bomb threat. According to the news agency Reuters, the police have evacuated the Eiffel Tower complex after receiving information about the bomb. At present, a bomb disposal squad is present on the spot. Police personnel are searching the surrounding areas. Police said, ‘A bomb has been reported in the Eiffel Tower located in Paris, one of the most visited tourist places in the world, after which it was evacuated as a precaution. It has been done, all the tourists present there have been taken out. With this, the tower has been closed for the public till further orders. Apart from the bomb disposal squad, several police teams are also deployed at the spot. Bombs are also being searched around the Eiffel Tower. Police has barricaded around the historical monument. Construction work on the Eiffel Tower began in January 1887 and was finished on 31 March 1889. Two million tourists visited the Eiffel Tower during the 1889 World’s Fair. Millions of people come from all over the world to see it. Earlier in September 2020 also such an incident has come to the fore. At the same time, in May 2018 itself, the threat of blowing the tower with a bomb has been received.
