The BJP has chosen to run in the next assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh under the direction of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan once again, even though it is not yet known who would head the party in Rajasthan or Chhattisgarh. The Congress party will depend on its seasoned leader Kamal Nath, just as the BJP does.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister, will lead the BJP in the next general elections for the Lok Sabha constituency, according to national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya. Recently, he told media in Jabalpur, “He will be the face of our party.”
Vijayvargiya responded to media speculation that he was most likely the BJP’s choice for the chief ministerial position by claiming that he had just learned of his candidature via the media. On the party’s policies, “there is a clear consensus,” he said.
As part of the party’s “Abki Baar 200 Paar” campaign, the BJP leadership and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) have already begun working to assure the saffron party’s win in more than 200 seats in Madhya Pradesh. The Congress has total control over the district, from the Lok Sabha seat to the municipal corporation to the district and panchayat levels, which is why the BJP launched its campaign from Chhindwara. Nakul Nath, the son of Kamal Nath, who would head the party in the next assembly elections, won the Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat. Kamal Nath holds the Chhindwara Vidhan Sabha seat at the moment.
The BJP won 28 of the state’s 29 Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 elections, with Chhindwara serving as the lone loss. The BJP has always been frustrated by its consistent loss in Chhindwara since the 1980s, with the exception of one time.
According to experts, the BJP is attempting to win over more than 8 lakh tribal votes in Chhindwara this year. Tribal seats are designated for them in the Chhindwara district’s Amarwara, Junnardeo, and Pandhurna constituencies, where Congress candidates formerly prevailed.
Recently, the BJP sent Giriraj Singh, the Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, to Chhindwara, a bastion of the Congress. While there for three days, he attended a lot of events.
Speaking to the media, Singh predicted that the BJP will win all 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh in the next assembly elections.
A few days after Giriraj Singh’s visit, Union Home Minister Amit Shah too made it to Chhindwara. Speaking to the party’s Mahavijay Udghosh Jansabha, Shah declared that the BJP will take home the Lok Sabha seat as well as all seven local assembly seats in the area in 2024. In addition, he questioned Kamal Nath at the occasion about what he had been up to over the previous 15 months while the state’s administration was in power.

Women from the lower middle class and the underprivileged are given 1,000 rupees every month as part of this plan. The programme is open to women between the ages of 23 and 60 who have a household income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh and who do not possess more than 5 acres of land or a four-wheeled car. By April 30, the program’s application forms may be submitted. The recipients would get a direct deposit of Rs 1,000 each month into their accounts when the forms are reviewed in May. According to experts, the effective execution of this initiative would improve the BJP’s standing in the state.
In the meanwhile, it seems that the cadres of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Madhya Pradesh are also in action mode. On the occasion of the centennial of the martyr Hemu Kalani’s birth, Sangh leader Mohan Bhagwat travelled to Bhopal. In his speech, Bhagwat urged people to resist little temptations for the welfare of the nation. He discussed the desire for a unified India and urged everyone to be prepared to realise this dream. Akhand Bharat is a fact that will materialise, according to Bhagwat, who added, “I do not know whether and how it will happen.
Bhagwat visited Burhanpur and Jabalpur after visiting Bhopal, where he also got criticism. Bhagwat has been to three different parts of the state during the last month, which political analysts attribute to the assembly’s planning.

The Prime Minister visited the Special Armed Forces facility in Rewa a few days later to officially launch projects worth more than Rs 17,000 crores for the development of Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day. He notably listed some of the Shivraj Singh Chouhan administration’s policies in his speech.
The Congress has established its stance about their CM face in the opposing camp. Digvijay Singh, a seasoned party figure and a former chief minister, told reporters in the Vidisha area that “Kamal Nath is the only face we have in Madhya Pradesh.”
It makes sense that Shivraj and Kamal Nath have recently been quite combative with one another. The verbal combat between them has become worse, whether it is on social media, during electoral rallies, or in the state parliament. The scenario is set for yet another ferocious conflict between the longtime political enemies in Madhya Pradesh as the state assembly elections approach.
