According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, often known as “Prachanda,” is scheduled to arrive in India on Wednesday on a four-day official visit.
Dahal, who took office in December of last year, has accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s offer to go to India from May 31 to June 3. The vice president Jagdeep Dhankhar and president Droupadi Murmu will also be met by the Nepalese prime minister during the visit. At 2:50 pm on Wednesday, the Nepali prime minister will fly at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
The next day (Thursday), at 10.30 am, Dahal will lay a wreath at the Mahatma Gandhi monument to start his itinerary.
The top meeting on the agenda for the Nepalese PM on Wednesday is with PM Modi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi at 11 a.m.
At roughly noon, Dahal will also preside over the two countries’ exchange of agreements and issue press statements at the same location.
The Nepalese PM will visit Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar at his official house on Maulana Azad Road at 4 o’clock in the evening. After that, Dahal would visit Rashtrapati Bhawan to speak with President Droupadi Murmu.
On the second day of his tour, in addition to his formal obligations, Dahal will go to Indore to take part in a programme. According to MEA, he may also go to Ujjain. On June 3, Saturday at 4:20 PM, he would leave for Kathmandu.
Dahal, the prime minister of Nepal, will be accompanied by a senior delegation.
In-depth discussions on a variety of topics pertaining to the bilateral relationship between India and Nepal will also be held between PM Dahal and PM Modi, according to a statement released by the Ministry of External Affairs.
The Nepalese Prime Minister will also receive visits from a number of other Indian leaders.
The visit is a continuation of the custom of frequent high-level interactions between India and Nepal, which supports the “Neighbourhood First” policy.
In all areas of collaboration, the two nations’ bilateral ties have improved dramatically during the last several years.
This visit illustrates the significance that both parties take on advancing the two countries’ bilateral cooperation.
