Mumbai: Two people were killed in an accident when their car crashed into a tree while they were returning home in Andheri after partying in Paral. The accident took place in Dadar on Friday night. The deceased have been identified as Sunil Dattawani (29), Satish Yadav (31), while three others have been injured in this accident.
Sudarshan Zinjurte from Andheri had come to Paral with his four friends for a party. Everyone was returning home in a Kia car after midnight after partying. Sudarshan was driving the car. While the car was speeding, it went over the speed breaker and hit the road divider and again hit a banyan tree on the footpath in front of Madhani Estate on the left. Sunil, Satish’s Kevin Pillai, Saad Ansari and driver Sudarshan were all injured in the accident. No one could get out as the doors of the car were locked due to the accident. A team of Dadar police reached the spot and all were admitted to KEM Hospital.
Sunil and Satish died while undergoing treatment at KEM, while the other three are undergoing treatment. Police said that a case has been registered against Sudarshan and the medical report will show that he had consumed alcohol.
