Two teenagers died after being electrocuted at a farmhouse in Maharashtra’s Thane district. The police gave this information on Tuesday. The incident took place on Saturday evening at a farmhouse in Badlapur, the police officer said.
Police said both the boys were cousins. They were doing some work at a relative’s farmhouse when they came in contact with a metal door, electrocuting them. They both got struck by lightning. Jayesh Baker (19) and his cousin Kumar (17) were rushed to a local hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead, the official said. He said that a case of accidental death has been registered.
Woman died of electrocution in Delhi
Two days ago, a similar incident came to light from the national capital, Delhi, where a woman at New Delhi railway station got electrocuted after filling water in the station premises. The woman had died due to electrocution. The police had started action in this matter.
