Before the Airport Authority of India’s aircraft began using the airport, numerous Instrument Landing System (ILS) components, including the localizer, glide path, marker, D.M.E., and others, were calibrated.
The under-construction terminal building, apron, etc. have all been examined by the district magistrate. Airport Authority representatives said that more than 78% of the work on the terminal building was finished, and the remaining work is being done quickly in two shifts each day.
Additionally, he said that the work on the parking facility for four aircraft on one apron is completely finished and that it is moving along quickly for the parking facility for four aircraft on the other apron.
The District Magistrate issued orders to accomplish all of the work within the allotted time by working as quickly as possible and using the most mechanical and human resources in all of the shifts. According to him, a plan exists to begin operating the airport this year while adhering to all operational criteria.
According to Vinod Kumar, director of Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport, flights from this location will begin in November, just in time for Ramlala’s consecration ceremony at the enormous Ram temple.
There are plans to launch flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad in the initial phase.
