According to Guinness World Records (GWR), an Indian jewellery firm beat the record for the most diamonds set into a single ring with a stunning 50,907 stones. Additionally, they used recycled materials exclusively in the creation of the piece.
On Twitter, the official Guinness World Records account shared the video showcasing this magnificent jewelery. This record was broken by H.K. Designs and Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. The repurposed materials were used to build the whole ring. The magnificent jewellery was created from discarded diamonds and repurposed gold.
How much does a ring with diamonds cost?
The ring is valued at $785,645, or around Rs 6,42,22,943.35 (more than Rs 6 crore), according to the GWR. In the span of about nine months, the ring was finished. The ring is fittingly called Eutierria and depicts a sunflower with a butterfly discreetly perched on top, alluding to being one with the nature.
According to the managing director of H.K Designs, “The HK Group believes that dreams are “made real” rather than “come true.” Beginning with a dream. It becomes a belief when faith is included. When combined with action, it becomes a way of life. It becomes a goal in sight when persistence is added. It culminates in a dream that is “made true” through time and patience. Our goal in making this ring was to produce a unique work of art that stands out on its own, and I think we succeeded.
The video has received over 13,000 social media views since it was posted. Another Indian jewellery manufacturer, H.K. Designs and Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., seized control of the record after challenging SWA Diamonds. They fashioned a mushroom-shaped ring with 24,679 diamonds. The new world record ring has 50,907 diamonds in it.
