The results of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 were declared on June 4th, 2024. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the winning political party by evening, with a commanding majority of the seats. The President of India will extend an invitation to the National Democratic Alliance, or NDA, to establish a new central government shortly. Despite making up only 14% of the nation’s population, Muslims predominate in fourteen constituencies. This is the performance of these constituencies in the General Elections.

Following the repeal of Article 370 in 2019, three seats in Jammu and Kashmir with a majority of Muslims were turned into Union Territories.

Barpeta
Asom Gana Parishad’s Phani Bhusan Choudhury defeated Congressman Deep Bayan. Since the AGP supports the NDA, two NDA candidates have been elected from Assam’s Muslim-majority seats.
