The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) reported 24 Covid-19 cases and one fatality from Mumbai on Wednesday. The number of infections increased to 11,63,577 with the most recent case addition, while the number of fatalities from Covid-19 increased to 19,771.
After 46 patients were released in the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries rose to 11,43,628. According to the data, there are now 178 active cases in the city.
The case recovery rate in Mumbai is 98.3%. According to the report, the total increase rate of cases between May 10 and May 16 was 0.0020%. The BMC reported that the rate of case doubling is 29,550 days. In Mumbai, 1,027 tests were completed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of samples analyzed to 1,88,64,433.
According to Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday, India witnessed a single-day rise of 906 new COVID-19 cases as the active cases declined to 10,179.
