Sources said that the Mumbai Police Control received a call from the officer of Haryana’s Udyog Vihar, Gurugram police station, informing them that they received a call yesterday around 3.30 pm, in which the caller claimed that “Domestic Airport and International Airport Mumbai and There will be a bomb blast in Delhi today (4.08.23) or a major incident may happen.
After receiving this threat call, the police department and other agencies in both the capitals got busy and the entire airport was checked. But after a thorough investigation, the police did not find anything suspicious. Police is trying to identify the unknown caller as to who gave this information and why. Regarding this, DCP Dixit Gedam of Mumbai Police Zone 8 said that Sahar Police has registered a case against unknown person under section 506(2) and 505(1) of IPC and are probing the matter.
On the other hand, yesterday, a woman had given a bomb threat at Pune airport in Maharashtra itself. After which the security agencies were alerted. Police have registered a case against a 72-year-old woman after she made a bomb threat. According to the police, the accused Neeta Kriplani reached Pune airport on Thursday afternoon. Meanwhile, during the checking, he told the policemen on duty at the booth, “There are bombs all around me.” After this there was no commotion. When the female policemen carefully searched the suspect woman, it was found that she had lied.
