Union Minister Anurag Thakur questioned Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader and Wayanad MP, about his “silence” on the series of explosions in Kerala, asking, “Who are these people who want to create chaos here from outside?”

At least two people were murdered and several more were wounded in a series of bombings that occurred at a prayer meeting in Kalamassery, Kerala, on Sunday morning. Six more persons are still in critical condition.
The national capital’s populated areas now have increased security as a result of the explosions in Kerala.
While numerous wounded persons were receiving care at Kochi’s hospitals, the rooms were packed with distraught and horrified relatives.
“My mother is admitted to the hospital; she came yesterday (to the convention center) for the prayer,” said Laxman Prabhu, a relative of two fatalities. She has burn injuries on her hands, lips, back, and legs in addition to her other problems. Additionally, my sister had burns to both of her legs.
At around nine in the morning, several explosions occurred at a Jehovah’s Witness prayer service in the Kochi district’s Kalamassery neighborhood.
Meanwhile, a guy known only as Dominic Martin turned himself in at the Kodakara police station in Thrissur, alleging he was the perpetrator of a string of explosions that had caused several injuries.
However, the police said that they had not yet confirmed Martin’s allegations.
“A guy has turned himself up at the Kodakra Police Station in the rural area of Thrissur, claiming to have done it. He goes by Dominic Martin and says he was a member of the same sabha. We’re checking it out. The first findings of the police inquiry indicate that the explosions may have been set off by IEDs, or improvised explosive devices.

Kerala Police warned people on Sunday not to spread false information about the event on social media.
Kerala Police Chief Shaik Darvesh Saheb said in a statement that “action will be taken against those spreading fake news.”
According to him, the police have stepped up their 24/7 social media monitoring in an effort to find accounts that are disseminating these kinds of false information.
State ministers K Rajan, VN Vasavan, Antony Raju, Mayor M Anilkumar, and others visited Kalamasery’s Medical College after the explosions and spoke with the victims in the Zamra Convention Center on Sunday.
Kerala Minister P Rajeev urged the public to abstain from phony social media campaigns at a news conference.
“The inquiry is being carried out by police…Only after conducting a comprehensive inquiry can we draw certain conclusions. All of the wounded people are undergoing efforts to preserve their lives. Tomorrow, CM Pinarayi Vijayan has scheduled an all-party meeting.Everyone needs to abstain from phony social media advertisements.Kerala usually handles these circumstances in unison,” the minister said.
