A special flight from Air India has arrived in the island nation of Barbados to evacuate Team India. The Indian news agency ANI has reported that this trip will mark the team’s return to the country of India.
Team India, which just won the Twenty20 World Cup in 2024, is currently isolated from the rest of the world in Barbados due to the presence of hurricane Beryl, which is a category 4 strong storm.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) arranged for a special flight service to transport the coaches, players, and their families back to India. Air India always comes to the rescue of Indian nationals whenever there is a calamity.
