New Delhi. Australia has announced its 18-member squad to face India in the three-match ODI series. Pat Cummins is in charge of the team. At the same time, Glenn Maxwell has returned to the team after being fit. Travis Head, who was injured in the ODI series against South Africa, has not been included in the team.
Glenn Maxwell has returned to Australia’s ODI team after missing the ODI series against South Africa. Maxwell had injured his ankle in the training session, due to which he had to be out of the South Africa series. Marnus Labuschagne, who did not make it to the World Cup 2023 team, has also been given a chance against India.
Travis Head has not been included in the team after being injured in the ODI series against South Africa. Head’s left thumb was hit by the ball, after which the coach confirmed the fracture. The loss of head is a big blow for the Australian team.
Australia has also included young fast bowler Spencer Johnson in their team. Johnson has been called up to the ODI team for the first time. Spencer has taken two wickets in two T20 international matches played so far. Johnson’s performance in The Hundred Tournament was excellent.
