Mumbai Police on Thursday issued a traffic advice and released a list of alternative routes near the Dadar region in advance of President Droupadi Murmu’s arrival in the city. President Murmu is in Mumbai for the first time since taking office in July. Yesterday, President Murmu landed in Nagpur as part of his trip to Maharashtra.
President Murmu will visit Shri Siddhivinayak Temple today, according to a statement from the Mumbai Police, which is located in the Dadar Traffic Division of Mumbai.
The Shri Siddhivinayak Temple and surrounding roads will have temporary traffic measures in place during the honorable V.V.I.P.’s visit, according to the Mumbai Police.
The warning further said that the traffic restrictions and controls will be in effect on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
A statement from the Mumbai Traffic Police on Twitter said, “In view of Sankashti Chaturthi and a scheduled program at Siddhi Vinayak Temple tomorrow, traffic near the temple will be regulated and controlled as per situational requirement.”
